We are very excited about this, our new Father’s Day Hamper for 2024. We wanted to make it as packed with Dorset goodness as possible, no finer way to spoil your Dad or that special someone in your life!
Each of our hampers contains all of the following-
2 x large Cheddar scones made with Barber’s mature Cheddar of Somerset.
1 x 230g wedge of Dorset Blue Vinny cheese wrapped in waxed paper. This legendary cheese is made just down the road as the crow flies from our kitchen here in Dorset.
1 x 140g jar of Brailsford Chutney homemade by us in our kitchen here with apple, onion and raisins. A delicious, no messing, fruity chutney made with bramley apples and cider vinegar to our own secret recipe. The perfect accompaniment to the delightful cheddar and scones. Our chutney is named after Mary Ann Brailsford who grew the first Bramley apple tree in 1809.
1 x packet of 4 of our delicious Dorset clotted cream shortbread, made right here in our kitchen using both butter and local clotted cream. The clotted cream comes from Blackmore Vale dairy who source their milk from farms that surround our kitchen. They are short and crumbly and very moorish!
1 x drink of your choice– choose from one of the following-
Our loose English breakfast tea which comes complete with its own separate bags to brew in and brewing instructions
or
Sumatra bourbon cafetiere coffee (roasted here in Dorset, just a few miles away from us)
or
Sumatra bourbon swiss water process decaffeinated cafetiere coffee. A very natural, gentle method using water to remove the caffeine, much better than the chemical methods often used in cheaper products. This sits well with our ethos to use natural methods that are earth friendly.
1 x complimentary hand written message card for you to convey your wishes and love, we will hand write your message here and pack in your hamper when it goes out.
1 x beautiful presentation box, the first thing your Dad will see when it arrives, featuring Droste our Dorset hare. The hare is the little known Dorset mascot!

You can also add one of our Fathers Day drinks, chosen to complement the scones, cheese and chutney.

Firstly, we have Palmers Dorset Ginger Beer, crafted by Palmers brewery of Bridport, right here in Dorset! It is made in the traditional way with pure sugar and no artificial sweeteners, giving it a lovely, clean, natural taste, taking you back to traditional caramels and lemon Bon bons.
It has a light fizz and a satisfying zing, making it the ideal non alcoholic beverage for all ages.

Next on offer is our Golden Spire Fruity Ale, made right here in Stalbridge by Matt. This pale ale is made from a blend of modern British hops, which combine to create pleasing tropical fruit flavours. The Barley used in the base of this beer is locally grown, traditional floor malted Maris Otter.

Finally it’s our Fruity Orchard Cider.
Made a leap and a hop from us, just over the border in Somerset by Nigel of Bridge Farm, this traditional, slightly sparkling, fruity cider is sure to please your Dad with its bouncy apple taste. A proper West Country way to enjoy your Cheddar scones and Truckle of cheese, ploughmans style!
